In the 2019-20 academic year, 19-year-old sociology major Lizette Valdovinos is taking on the role of student trustee for Woodland Community College.
The Woodland High alum spent her first year of college focused on her studies. Once she became comfortable in her new surroundings, she decided to push herself and get involved.
