The Community College of Beaver County’s School of Aviation Sciences was one of only 17 aviation schools in the country to receive a grant from American Airlines.
The school announced Wednesday that they had once again received a $25,000 grant for being a top “innovative aviation organization.” The funds would go toward the launch of its Widening Interest for the Next Generation of Students (WINGS) in Aviation programs, which will increase outreach by bringing desktop flight simulators to local school districts and draw awareness to a career in flight.
