San Diego Mesa College President Pamela T. Luster Tuesday announced her retirement, effective June 30.
Luster has served as the president of Mesa College since 2011. During her tenure, Mesa College began equity programs, added a bachelor’s degree and multiple other academic programs, won multiple athletics titles, issued the college’s educational and facilities master plan and completed the accreditation process multiple times.
In her retirement letter, Luster said, “It has been the absolute professional pinnacle and joy of my life to serve as president.”
