STUART, Va. (WDBJ) – Patrick Henry Community College is building a new pathway to careers for Patrick County students.
In what was once a Food Lion, the classroom is stocked with over $300,000 worth of mechatronic equipment for students to gain hands on experience.
The college’s other site, at Patrick County High School, is where students can take evening welding courses. The expansion will also start a duel enrollment welding program for high school students.
