LONGMONT— Ken Floyd gets a lot of calls from companies asking if he knows of any recent graduates looking for a job. Those companies will tell him they just hired one of his former students and they need more good employees.
Floyd, a Fort Collins resident who teaches advanced manufacturing courses at Front Range Community College, often has to tell them to check again at the end of the semester when the next batch of students finishes the program.
But that could soon change.
