Alabama Community College Using Stimulus Funds To Offer Students up to $1,500

An Alabama community college is offering students – including high schoolers taking dual enrollment classes – up to $1,500 via its stimulus funds.

Calhoun Community College in Decatur announced it will distribute some $7.8 million to students taking courses this fall semester. The money comes from the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, part of the American Rescue Plan passed in March.
