“Of the responsibilities placed upon the Board of Trustees under the Community College Act of 1963, none is more in keeping with the high-minded purpose of a community college than the board’s responsibility to seek and name a community college president,” said Ron DiNicola, chairman of the board. “The college president represents the very spirit, vision, and inspiration of the college.”
The board will enlist the help of higher-education search firms in hopes of having a president selected either by the end of the year or early 2021.
