PHOENIX — Three Arizona community colleges are working on developing advanced manufacturing classes for students.
Maricopa County Community College, Pima Community College and Central Arizona College are talking with major companies in the region – including Boeing – to develop the classes.
“It’s what we do,” Dr. Maria Harper-Marinick, the chancellor of the Maricopa County Community College District, said. “We need to make sure that there is a pipeline of individuals receiving the right levels of education to get employed by the companies.”
