MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — More than 130 Berkeley County, W.Va., high-school seniors could earn college credits next fall at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College as part of JumpStart, a new “college in high school” collaborative.
“It gives the students a jump start on, not only earning a degree, but it also gives them a jump-start on their career,” Berkeley County Schools Deputy Superintendent Don Dellinger told the county board of education at the Monday night meeting.
