Grants Pass, Ore. – Since the shooting incident at Umpqua Community College nearly a year ago, colleges and universities around the area have made changes and upgrades to their campus securities.
Rogue Community College has officers making more patrols that happen randomly throughout the day.
They have also utilized more trainings and programming for students and staff for active shooter threats and “Run, Hide, Fight.” The trainings help staff learn what to do in emergency situations.
