As the controversial plan to merge the state’s 12 community college inches forward, the accrediting body overseeing the process has laid out a new to-do list.
The guidance comes in a six-page response to the state’s latest 90-page progress report. In its response, the New England Commission on Higher Education asks for more details on how the plan will live up to its name — Students First.
