Committee Suggests Kirtland Take over University Center

GAYLORD — Kirtland Community College will become the new operator of the University Center Gaylord facility starting in January 2017, if a number of boards support the recommendation of a steering committee.

The committee, featuring representatives from Kirtland, the University Center’s Board of Directors and Otsego County, has worked on creating a sustainable future for the University Center throughout this year, and has recommended an agreement between Kirtland and Otsego County for the center’s operation.
