David Enow started kicking around a soccer ball with his brothers when he was a kid growing up in Cameroon. His dad played, and it quickly became a part of Enowâs identity. Then soccer became a dream; he wanted to play professionally, whatever it took.
A few years ago, he took a chance and moved to the U.S. He eventually moved out to Seattle and enrolled in Shoreline Community College. He knew no one in the area. But soccer was âboomingâ on the West Coast, he said. And he wasnât nervous to come out to the Pacific Northwest. Heâd already moved once from a different continent.
