Elgin Community College engineering students who meet certain criteria will be guaranteed admission into the University of Illinois’ engineering college under a partnership that should make engineering degrees more affordable and engineering schools more diverse.
The U of I Engineering Pathways program will allow students applying for ECC admission in 2020 to simultaneously apply to enter the university’s engineering school.
