CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cuyahoga Community College program that requires students to enroll full time and receive comprehensive financial, academic, and support services has boosted academic achievement.
The program, and similar ones at Lorain County Community College and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, are versions of the Accelerated Study in Associate Programs developed in 2007 by the City University of New York.
The New York program nearly doubled the three-year graduation rate for low-income community college students with developmental needs.
